The Driving Companion is the book you'll use to log down the 75 hours you need to get your P's.  The book also features important information on how to get your licence.  

You need to pass the hazard perception test to graduate from your learner's permet to a P1 Provisional licence.  It can be completed online

You can check to see if you can transfer you overseas driver's licence to a South Australian one. 
You need to do this within 3 months of becoming a permanent resident of SA.
