Practice PRACTICE PRACTICEEEE!!!!

One thing I always advocate for, ad nauseam, is to practice what you learn during your lessons. Think about it, you've paid a lot of money to gain knowledge and experience from your instructor - there is no need to limit the time during your driving lessons to improve your driving. First step, grab a note pad and make some bullet points of some of the things that have been covered during your lessons, particularly, any bad habits you might have (steering technique, cancelling the inidcator too early, not looking forward before moving off etc.)
Next, instead of using your practise time to just drive between home and the gym, takeaways or school - give yourself and additional 10 minutes (at least) to practice any of the manouveres covered during the lesson (90 degree angle park, paralell parking)
The 75 hours of driving you need to complete need not just be a box ticking exercise, use that time to improve on the things that you find most difficult.
Create a little drill using the roads local to your area, for example, here is a nice little street of road in Mt Barker where you can practice using the "scary" roundabout and to do a U Turn and then complete a U Turn in traffic using a sidestreet. Repeate these techniques often enough so they feel comfortable.
